Wesleyan tennis teams sweep Shaw

RALEIGH (NC) — The West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcat tennis teams finished its run through the Carolinas with a sweep of Shaw University’s men’s and women’s teams. Wesleyan’s men’s team dominated with a 7-0 result and the Bobcat women took their matches 5-2.

Both of Wesleyan’s tennis teams jumped into the Top 50 of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s (ITA) national rankings. The men are ranked No. 39 while the women are ranked No. 46, the first time the Bobcat women have been ranked since 2010.
