BUCKHANNON — West Virginia Wesleyan College is excited to announce Paige Harman as the next head coach of the women’s lacrosse team.

“I am so excited and extremely grateful for this opportunity,” remarked Harman.  “Thank you to the West Virginia Wesleyan administration for putting their trust in me and bringing me into the Bobcat Family.”

Harman has years of experience as a player and as a coach. She was a four year starter at Furman University, where she played in 70 games and scored 130 career goals. In those games, Harman became the program’s second leading scorer (249), second all time assist leader (119), first in most assists in a season, and first in most points in a season.

Harman has spent the last season as a graduate assistant for the Gardner-Webb women’s lacrosse program as the offensive and draw coordinator. The team had an increase in team assist, shot production, and draw controls compared to the previous season.
