Wesleyan graduate Michael Aloi to give welcome at Center for Restorative Justice Week event

Judge Michael J. Aloi, a graduate of Wesleyan’s class of 1980, will deliver the welcome for an upcoming statewide event during International Restorative Justice Week.

The Center for Restorative Justice at West Virginia Wesleyan College is partnering with the West Virginia Restorative Justice Project to hold talking circles across the state on November 20. Aloi will give his welcome address on Zoom, followed by a brief presentation about restorative justice and talking circles by members of the West Virginia Restorative Justice Project advisory team.

Aloi serves as a United States Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of West Virginia in Clarksburg.

This free Zoom event will include talking circles in various locations, from Buckhannon to Wheeling, Charleston, Martinsburg and others.
