DANIELS, W.Va. — The West Virginia Wesleyan men’s golf team concluded the spring season at the Golden Bear Classic on Tuesday at the Resort at Glade Springs. The Bobcats finished seventh overall, shooting 666 strokes in the two-round event.
Alexis Abalos finished his first season donning the Black and Orange with a sixth-place finish. Abalos shot a 75 in his first round and concluded the event shooting a 78, finishing nine strokes over par for the event.
Rigel Wilson climbed up 13 spots on the leaderboard in the final day of competition. Wilson turned in a round of 75 in the second round to finish in a tie for 13th place. Wilson finished 13 strokes above par.
Senior Matthew Allen completed his career at WVWC and shot a 173 in the event. Dan Morgret finished his collegiate career shooting a 183. Gavin Wilson rounded out the scoring for West Virginia Wesleyan with a 194.
