Welcome to Stockert Youth & Community Center, Michelle Harter!

BUCKHANNON – Stockert Youth & Community Center has a new face at the front office this summer–Michelle Harter! Harter recently assumed the role of Program Coordinator at SYCC, overseeing the summer camp and after school programs. Buckhannon City Council welcomed her to the position at their regular meeting on Tuesday.

Originally from Fairmont, Harter has spent the last 9 years in North Pole, Alaska, but decided now was the time to return home. She is thrilled to be back and is enjoying getting to know everyone at SYCC, especially the kids.

If your child would like to get involved with Camp Buccaneer or any of the other programming presented at SYCC, call Michelle at (304) 473-0145.

In addition to Camp Buccaneer, Stockert Youth and Community Center provides tutoring, after-school activities, recreation and sports classes & leagues for youth and adults in Buckhannon and Upshur County.
