Wandena June Howell

Wandena June Howell, 91, of Buckhannon, WV, died Sunday, December 12, 2021, at her home.

She was born June 25, 1930, in Upshur County, WV, a daughter of the late Webster Cronner and Odessa M. Hibbs Riggs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Eugene Howell who died on February 26, 1980, and one daughter, Deeanna May Howell.

She is survived by one son, Kenneth Howell, Jr. and wife Lois of Buckhannon; three grandsons, Travis Manley of NC, Craig Howell and wife Crystal of Buckhannon and Robert Longerbeam and wife Michele of Clarksburg, WV; two granddaughters, Trina Ellison of NC and Kimberly Bryant and husband Danny of Clarksburg and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Howell was a homemaker.

In honoring her wishes, Mrs. Howell’s body was donated to the WVU Human Gift Registry for scientific research.
