TENNERTON – The Buckhannon-Upshur volleyball team split a home tri-outing with Doddridge County and Pendleton County last week in their only action of the week.

The Lady Bucs beat Doddridge County in straight sets (25-22 and 25-13) but fell by a 2-0 verdict to Pendleton County (25-22 and 25-16).

Against Doddridge County, Ella McNeish led the team with two aces and 11 assists. Alyssa Abel had a team-high six kills and one black. Alivia Cogar has five kills while Abby Hurst had four. Emmalea Lipps had a team high eight digs.

In the setback to Pendleton County, McNeish had four aces and six assists. Abel led the team with five kills while Hurst led the team with nine digs and two blocks.
