Vicky Darlene Hinchman

Vicky Darlene Hinchman, 61, of Randolph Street, Buckhannon, died Thursday, February 13, 2020, at her home.

She was born on February 25, 1958, a daughter of the late Thomas J. Hayes and Beth Laverne Curtis Hayes, who survives.

On July 22, 1973, she was united in marriage to Robert (Bob) Hinchman, who survives.

In addition to her mother and husband, she is also survived by two daughters:  Bobby and husband Russell Bennett of Horner and Beth and husband Bill Huddleston of French Creek; two grandchildren:  Erica Betler and fiancé Zack Bennett of Buckhannon and Hunter Huddleston of Morgantown; three great grandchildren:  Kenley and Hudson Chidester and Rylan Bennett, all of Buckhannon; and four-legged friends: cat Tucker and dog Spanky.

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by a special maternal grandmother Mildred Curtis.

Vicky was a homemaker and a member of the South Buckhannon Mission Church.  She was an avid crafter and had worked as an in-home caregiver with the Senior Center—a job she thoroughly enjoyed.  Vicky was loved by many and her family, friends, and neighbors brought her true joy in life, especially caring for her three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2020, at the Hampton Cemetery with Pastor Ed Lowther officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations of blankets may be made to the mothers and infants at Mon General Hospital in her memory.

Online condolences may be extended to the Hinchman family at www.heavnerandcutright.com. The Hinchman family entrusted the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service with the arrangements.
