Vaccination clinic in Randolph County slated for Jan. 28 open to Upshur County residents

ELKINS — The Elkins-Randolph County Health Department is receiving 500 doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine this week for a community vaccination clinic on Thursday, January 28.

The vaccines are intended for residents of Randolph, Barbour, Tucker, Pendleton, Upshur and Webster Counties.

• Appointments will be made beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26 by calling 304-637-3368.

• The phone line will not open until 10 a.m. tomorrow and will be disabled when all appointment time slots are filled. Voice messages left on this line WILL NOT be returned.

There is an overwhelming demand for the vaccine and a huge volume of calls coming into the line. Please be patient and kind with our phone volunteers – we are doing the best that we can.

DO NOT CALL THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT OR THE HOSPITAL SWITCHBOARD FOR APPOINTMENTS.
