Upshur Parish House invites public to open house March 21

BUCKHANNON — The Upshur Parish House in Buckhannon is hosting an Open House on Tuesday, March 21, from 4 to 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

Guests will be given an opportunity to tour the Parish House, and information about our programs and services will be shared.  This is an opportunity for anyone who has never been to the Parish House before to stop by and see what we do.

Refreshments will also be available.

“We are hosting this open house and welcoming anyone from our community to learn more about our facility, programs, and neighbors in need,” said Kristi Wilkerson, executive director of the Upshur Parish House. “We often hear friends and community members say they have never had a chance to visit us, or they say, ‘we didn’t know you did that!’ so this is a time for anyone to come by and check out our space and learn more about us.”

“I also want to emphasize that this is not a fundraising event,” Wilkerson added. “We are inviting our Upshur friends to join us for a few minutes and learn or see something new. We are so very grateful for all the ways our community supports our mission and the work we do. This is just one way we can share updates with everyone.”

The Upshur Parish House is located at 68 College Avenue in Buckhannon, directly across the street from WV Wesleyan College. Call 304-472-0743 with any questions.
