Upshur County youth fall baseball recap

WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital and the Rotary Club of Buckhannon Upshur are offering affordable spring community blood screenings in Rock Cave (March 28) and Buckhannon (April 11, 18, 25 and May 2).

St. Joseph’s Hospital marked the launch of Senior Life Solutions with a ribbon-cutting Tuesday. The program offers group and individual therapy, medication management and more for adults 65 and older dealing with depression, anxiety and major life transitions.

WVDNR stocked trout in 89 West Virginia lakes and streams during the week of March 2, with several Children and Class Q waters included. Anglers can find recently stocked waters at WVdnr.gov/fish-stocking and should carry a valid license/ID and trout stamp if targeting trout.

A 65-year-old man was arrested after an officer stopped him for allegedly driving with an unreadable license plate and found signs of impairment. He faces third-offense DUI and marijuana possession charges.
