Upshur County students graduate from Glenville State University

GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Three Upshur County students have received their degrees from Glenville State University as part of the University’s May 2022 Commencement.

Hannah R. Guthrie of Rock Cave earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology.

Olivia M. Hinkle of Buckhannon earned an Associate in Arts degree in General Studies as part of GSU’s Milestone Initiative.

Jacob G. Loudin of Buckhannon graduated Cum Laude with an Associate in Arts degree in General Studies as part of GSU’s Milestone Initiative.

The Milestone Initiative signifies the important academic accomplishment of students who are working toward a bachelor’s degree.

Founded in 1872, Glenville State University is a public liberal arts institution located in Glenville, West Virginia. The University offers a variety of traditional and online degree programs and several NCAA Division II athletic teams.
