The Upshur County Solid Waste Authority will hold a free paper shred event on Saturday, April 18 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Public Works Facility, 395 Mud Lick Road.
Residents are invited to bring unwanted paper documents for secure, on-site shredding. The event provides a safe and convenient way to dispose of sensitive materials such as old bills, bank statements, medical records and other personal paperwork.
The event is free and open to the public. No registration is required. Participants are encouraged to arrive early, as shredding services will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
