Upshur County grand jury indicts 21 people in September term

BUCKHANNON — An Upshur County grand jury handed up 21 indictments during the September 2021 term, according to a press release from Upshur County Prosecuting Attorney Bryan Hinkle’s office:

Terry Forest Evans, 30, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of soliciting a minor via computer, a felony, and one count of use of obscene matter with the intent to seduce a minor, also a felony.

Robert Allen Harris, 38, of Buckhannon, was indicted on two counts of soliciting a minor via computer, a felony.

Bucky Denver Tenney, 39, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of entering a building other than a dwelling, a felony, and one count of attempted petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

Robert Dwayne Williams, 51, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of malicious assault, a felony, and one count of gross child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury, a felony.

Daniel Lawrence Strawder, 33, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of breaking-and-entering, a felony; one count of petit larceny, a misdemeanor; and one count of entry of an automobile, a misdemeanor.

Joshua David Casada, 36, of French Creek was indicted on one count of fleeing in a vehicle with reckless indifference to the safety of others, a felony; two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, a felony; and one count of fleeing on foot, a misdemeanor.

Todd Walker Sutton, 40, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of possession of a stolen vehicle, a felony.

Brandon Blaine Kelley, 41, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of first-degree arson, a felony.

Jason Ernest Bachman, 43, of French Creek, was indicted on one count of driving while license revoked for DUI, third or subsequent offense, a felony, and one count of obstructing an officer, a misdemeanor.

Jack Anthony Bennington, 31, of Clarksburg, was indicted on one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, a felony.

Michael Thomas Burgess, 35, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of burglary, a felony, and one count of petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

David Nehemiah Nichols, 19, of Buckhannon and Newark, Delaware, was indicted on one count of grand larceny, a felony.

Dezmond Malik Williams, 19, of Flint, Michigan, was indicted on one count of fraudulent scheme and one count of conspiracy, both felonies.

Joshua Elton Shipman, 46, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of driving while license revoked for DUI, third or subsequent offense, a felony; one count of fleeing with reckless indifference to the safety of others, a felony; one count of forgery of a registration plate, a felony; and one count of fleeing on foot, a misdemeanor.

Michael Loran Fultineer, 45, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of driving revoked for DUI, third or subsequent offense, a felony; one count of forgery of a registration plate, a felony; and one count of no insurance, a misdemeanor.

William Bruce Delauder, 45, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of failure to report notice of registration changes to child abuse and neglect registry, second offense, a felony.

Torey James Hancock, 27, of Jane Lew, was indicted on one count of driving with license revoked for DUI, third or subsequent offense, a felony, and one count of no insurance, a misdemeanor.

Coy Lee Pritt Jr., 59, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of grand larceny, a felony.

Cassandra Lynn Sheets, 29, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of embezzlement, a felony, and one count of conspiracy, a felony.

Dameon Michael Sheets, 29, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of conspiracy, a felony.

Tylor James Arbogast, 28, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of destruction of property, a felony; one count of assault, a misdemeanor; one count of battery, a misdemeanor; and one count of obstructing an officer, a misdemeanor.
