A man and a woman were arrested Wednesday for allegedly setting fire to a stolen vehicle in Jane Lew.

Dylan McCracken, 38-years-old, and Dawn Pietripaoli, 45-years-old, both of Lewis County, were arrested and charged with third-degree arson for allegedly setting a stolen vehicle on fire in an empty lot in Jane Lew on March 16, 2025.

Investigators with the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office determined that the fire was incendiary in nature, and a warrant for McCracken and Pietripaoli was served by West Virginia State Police and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.

Both suspects were arrested and transported to the Central Regional Jail in Flatwoods. Bond for Dylan McCracken was set at $120,000, and bond for Dawn Pietripaoli was set at $100,000.
