Trick-or-Treat for Canned Goods

It’s that time of year again!

West Virginia Wesleyan College will be hosting Trick-or-Treat for Canned Goods again during normal Buckhannon city Trick-or-Treat hours (6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.) on Wednesday, Oct. 31.

The WE LEAD Poverty Reduction issue team is asking for donations of non-perishable items to be donated to the Upshur County Parish House. Wesleyan students will be coming door to door throughout the Buckhannon community during Trick-or-Treat asking for donations.

Accepted donations include canned vegetables, peanut butter, or any food item that is non-perishable.

Students at Wesleyan look forward to Trick-or-Treat for Canned Goods every year. Students understand the need of the community, and feel responsible for giving back. Working with the Upshur County Parish House brings students one step closer to the community and the neighbors that reside here.

Please keep our neighbors in mind during Trick-or-Treat; any and all donations are accepted and appreciated.
