Three football ‘Cats earn All-MEC postseason honors

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — Three members of the West Virginia Wesleyan football team were honored in the All-Mountain East Conference awards, the conference revealed Tuesday (Nov. 15).

Richmond, Va. native Deontre Logan earned him a spot on the All-MEC Second Team. Logan had a team-leading 102 tackles on the year. The linebacker also came up with 11 tackles for loss and three sacks. Logan earned Honorable Mention All-MEC honors during his junior season in 2021.

Junior Trey Milam was named to the All-MEC Second team. Milam has started every game at tackle for the Bobcats during the 2022 season. Summersville, W.Va. native Milam earned All-MEC Honorable Mention honors during his sophomore season in 2021.

Sophomore Devin Washington was named to the All-MEC Honorable Mention team. The stand-out wide receiver Washington had a team-leading 770 receiving yards. The Suitland, Md. native had five receiving touchdowns on the year and one rushing touchdown.
