Three Bucs earn Big 10 All-Conference soccer honors

TENNERTON – The Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers landed three players on the 2021 Big 10 All-Conference Soccer Team that was announced by conference officials Monday morning.

Senior Caden Andrick was named to the First Team as a midfielder while senior Julien Larcher was named to the First Team as a defender.

Andrick played in all 21 games for the Bucs and collected six goals and five assists from his midfield position.

Larcher had five goals and two assists from the B-U backfield in 20 games.

Junior goalie Dalton Auvil was selected as a member of the Second Team.

Auvil posted four shutouts on the season in 20 games played and had a 1.84 goals against average.

The Bucs finished the year with a 7-8-6 record.

Fairmont Senior won the conference championship while Ethan Gregory of Philip Barbour was Player of the Year and Arthur Knight was named Coach of the Year.
