Thomas (Tommy) “Hero” Leonard Haun

Thomas (Tommy) “Hero” Leonard Haun, age 52, of Weston, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Mon General Hospital.

He was born on April 15, 1973, in Maryland, the son of George and Linda (Snider) Haun. On February 4, 2006, he married the love of his life, Shelley Darlene (Bragg) Haun, with whom he shared many years of devotion and partnership.

Tommy was a proud and loving father to his children: John Haun, Thomas Leonard Haun II, Zyler Haun, Zariah Haun, Zenna Haun, and Zander Haun. He is also survived by his brother Rusty Haun and wife Re’nee, along with many close friends whom he worked with and rode motorcycles alongside — friends he considered true brothers and sisters.

Tommy worked for the West Virginia Department of Highways and ZDZ Trucking, where he was known for his strong work ethic and passion for driving. He loved life on the road, especially behind the wheel of a truck or on a motorcycle. Above all else, Tommy cherished spending time with his family, creating memories filled with laughter, love, and adventure.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember Tommy’s vibrant spirit and the impact he left on everyone who knew him.
