BUCKHANNON – My Buckhannon is proud to present another edition of the Hank Ellis All-Stars. Each week we will select a female and male athlete at Buckhannon-Upshur that has had an exemplary week on the football field, soccer field, volleyball court, golf course or the cross-country course.

Our Hank Ellis All-Stars for the week of August 14 – August 20 are Riel Figueroa and Makenzie Egress.

Figueroa is a freshman forward on the Buccaneer soccer team. He had both goals for the Bucs in outings with Morgantown and Greenbrier East, a pair of 3-1 losses.

Egress is a freshman on the Buccaneer golf team. In her first varsity action of the year, she carded a 43 for low team medalist honors for B-U in a dual outing with East Fairmont at Apple Valley.
