This week’s Hank Ellis All-Stars: Gwendolyn Rogosky and Jacob Frye

BUCKHANNON – My Buckhannon is proud to present another fall season of the Hank Ellis All-Stars. Each week, we will select a male and female athlete at Buckhannon-Upshur who has had an exemplary week on the football field, soccer field, cross country course, volleyball court, or golf course.

Our Hank Ellis All-Stars for the week of Sept. 28 – Oct. 5 are Gwendolyn Rogosky and Jacob Frye.

Rogosky is a sophomore on the Lady Buc cross country team. She finished in second place in the Lincoln High Junior Nuzum Memorial Invitational on Saturday. She clocked a time of 20:36.2. She helped the Lady Bucs to a first-place finish in the event.

Frye is a junior on the Buccaneer football team. Against the highly ranked Fairmont Senior Polar Bears last Friday, Frye had a big game from his wide receiver position with 110 yards on eight catches and one touchdown.

Congratulations to Rogosky and Frye as our weekly winners of the Hank Ellis All-Stars honor.
