Testa steps down as WVWC head football coach

BUCKHANNON – Tony Testa has resigned as West Virginia Wesleyan head football coach to pursue opportunities outside of football.

A WVWC alumnus, Testa returned to Buckhannon as an assistant coach in 2013 before taking the helm of the Bobcat football program in 2019.

“I want to thank Coach Testa for all that he has done for the West Virginia Wesleyan football program and athletic department,” WVWC Director of Athletics Randy Tenney said. “We wish him the absolute best in his future endeavors.”

The process to fill the position of WVWC head football coach will begin immediately.
