Terri J. Cogar

Terri J. Cogar, 44, of Buckhannon, died Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at the J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. 

She was born on October 4, 1976, in Buckhannon, a daughter of Charles Thomas of Somerset, Pa. and Teddi Burr-Seidl of Philippi.  On September 30, 2011, she was united in marriage to Jeffery J. Cogar, who survives.  In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by two daughters:  Liberty Snyder and husband Austin Metz and Korri Snyder, both of the home; one son Dakota Snyder of the home; two stepsons:  Ben and Bryce Cogar, both of Abbott; one sister Alethea Seidl and husband Hunter Chapman of California; and one brother Donnie Thomas of French Creek. 

She was preceded in death by one brother, Stephen Seidl.

She enjoyed spending time with her children and planning trips that the whole family would enjoy. Terri loved to hunt, fish, and ride four-wheelers. She was an avid reader and a talented pool player.

The body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at the Laurel Fork United Methodist Church at French Creek.
