Tennis ‘Cats fall on the road at Bluefield State, 5-2

BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – The West Virginia Wesleyan men’s tennis team fell to Bluefield State on Thursday afternoon 5-2 on the road. This was a rescheduled match that was originally scheduled for Tuesday but was postponed.

Singles Competition
Kihiro Karasawa lost 6-2 and 6-3
Emanuel Mallya was defeated in three sets
Camillo Salvi won in three sets
Kevin Lin fell 6-1 and 6-2
Anthony McIntosh lost 6-3 and 6-2
Jonathan Lindstrand also lost in three sets

Doubles Competition
Kevin Lin and Camillo Salvi won 6-4
The team of Kihiro Karasawa and Emanuel Mallya were victorious 6-1
Anthony McIntosh and Jonathan Lindstrand fell 6-4

Next Up For The Bobcats
Wesleyan travels to Johnson & Wales in Belmont, N.C. on March 3.
