BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Wesleyan men’s tennis team won a 6-1 decision Tuesday at home against PSAC foe Mercyhurst, earning their third-straight win and improving to (5-3) overall. The women’s match was not played due to cancelation.
Doubles Competition
Camillo Salvi and Kevin Lin started the day off with a 6-3 win, followed by Kihiro Karasawa and Emanuel Mallya also winning 6-3. Andreas Hald Dige and Anthony McIntosh fell in their match 6-4.
Singles Competition
The Bobcats dominated singles competition once again, winning five out of the six matches. Kihiro Karasawa, Emanuel Mallya, Camillo Salvi, Jonathan Lindstrand and Anthony McIntosh all won with Mallya, Salvi and McIntosh going three sets to get the win. Kevin Lin was the lone Bobcat to fall in singles competition.

Wesleyan will travel to another PSAC opponent on Sunday when they head to Millersville for a 3 p.m. start.
