BUCKHANNON – With the start of the third quarter getting underway this past Wednesday in the Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League, the league has two teams taking the early lead.
Sunset Graphics and Lisa Cain Edward Jones each have 24 points after Sunset Graphics beat Sam’s Pizza by a 24-16 score and Lisa Cain Edward Jones downed Lynx WV by that same 24-16 score.
High Point Construction is in third place with 22 ½ points after a 22 ½-17 ½ win over Feola’s Flowers.
Highland Landscaping rests in fourth place with 21 points following a 21-19 victory over First Community Bank.
Landing in fifth place this week is Custom Cabinets with 20 ½ points after a 20 ½-19 ½ win over Hank Ellis Insurance.
Chris Brady of First Community Bank won Low Actual honors with a 35 while John Mathias of Sunset Graphics earned Low Net honors with a 29.
