Sue Ann Miller

Sue Ann Miller, 72, of Little Sand Run Road, Buckhannon, died Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. 

She was born on August 5, 1947, a daughter of the late John Ross and Ada Lenore Armentrout Sassi.  On October 29, 1966, she was united in marriage to Gary L. Miller, who survives. 

Also surviving are their two children:  Todd Miller and wife Teena of Buckhannon and Heather and husband Darrel Day of Buckhannon; four grandchildren:  Jesse Miller, Emalea and husband Cam Currence, Darrel Wade Day, and Colton Heath Day; one great grandchild Jackson Miller, and one on the way; and one sister Mary Balzano of Parkersburg. 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother Henry and one sister Virginia.

Sue was a Jehovah’s Witness, and enjoyed sewing, quilting, and gardening.  She loved taking care of Gary and her family. 

At the request of the deceased, the body will be cremated.  Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Buckhannon-Upshur powered to its first win of the season with a 15-3 rout of Wheeling Park, using balanced scoring from seven players despite a near 30-minute delay. Braylon Oldaker, Easton Rice and Tobias Marple netted three goals each as the Bucs improved to 1-1.
