Twelve months of West Virginia, photographed by Al Tucker: a snow-covered Philippi Covered Bridge in January, daffodils on Hinkle Farm in Upshur County in March, Jackson’s Mill in August, Sandstone Falls in October, and the Upper Falls of Holly River to close out the year. This is the Buckhannon Band of Brothers’ annual scenic calendar, and every one sold goes toward their Help Us Help Kids Christmas project. This year the focus is close to home: the Upshur and Lewis County families who lost so much in the July 20 and 21 flash flooding. The Band of Brothers’ goal is to take the worry out of those families’ holiday meals and put presents under the tree for their kids, and to keep supporting the Grand Families Program, the Upshur Parish House, youth scholarships and the other groups they help year after year.
The group is aiming to raise $70,000 to $80,000 through this year’s calendar sale. Buying one here is the easiest way to be part of it.

Shipping information
The group ships these themselves from Buckhannon, so they are not print-on-demand and usually go out within a few business days. Shipping is $6 for the first calendar and $3 for each additional calendar in the same order.
