State high school tournament volleyball schedule

TENNERTON  — The WVSSAC has announced the times and pairings for the 2023 West Virginia High School Volleyball Tournament.

Twenty-four teams in three classes have advanced to the state tournament. Regional champions and runners-up qualified on Saturday, Nov, 4.

The Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center will host the single-elimination state tourney on Nov. 8-9. Quarterfinal and semifinal matchups will be played Wednesday and the championships are set for Thursday.

Class AAA

Quarterfinals (Wednesday):

Game 1 – No. 4 Bridgeport vs. No. 5 Woodrow Wilson – 8:30 a.m.

Game 2 – No. 1 Morgantown vs. No. 8 Parkersburg South – 30 minutes after

Game 3 – No. 2 Hedgesville vs. No. 7 Hurricane – 1:30 p.m.

Game 4 – No. 3 Musselman vs. No. 6 George Washington – 30 minutes after

Semifinals (Wednesday):

Game 1 winner vs. Game 2 winner – 6:30 p.m.

Game 3 winner vs. Game 4 winner – 30 minutes after

Championship (Thursday):

After conclusion of Class AA final
