BUCKHANNON — The West Virginia Wesleyan College volleyball program welcomes Ashley Stanton as its new assistant coach.

She was a part of the 2010 AAA Girls Track & Field State Championship Team in high school (the first girl’s state title for Buckhannon-Upshur High School). From 2011-13 she ran for Wesleyan’s women’s track & field team.

Stanton coached volleyball at Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School for three years and Buckhannon-Upshur High School for four years.

She was inducted into the Buckhannon-Upshur High School Hall of Fame in 2023 as a part of the 2010 AAA Girls Track & Field Team.
