St. Joseph’s Hospital welcomes first baby of 2024 on January 5

BUCKHANNON — The first baby of the new year was born at St. Joseph’s Hospital on January 5, 2024.

St. Joseph’s Hospital welcomed Patrick Clifford Yeager at 2:22 am on Friday, January 5, 2024. Born to proud parents Ivie Shakespeare and Jeffrey Yeager of Buckhannon, West Virginia, Patrick weighed 5 pounds, 15.5 ounces and was 18.5 inches long.

He was delivered at St. Joseph’s Hospital by Amanda Ketterman, CNM with the Center for Women’s Health at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
