St. Joseph’s Hospital to offer free Lunch and Learn discussion with Diabetes Care Coordination Team Nov. 15

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. — The St. Joseph’s Hospital Diabetes Care Coordination Team (CCT) will host a free “Lunch and Learn” on Thursday, Nov. 15 at noon in Salvati Hall at the hospital.

The CCT is a team of healthcare professionals who work with patients and their physicians to provide better care in the home for those with Type 2 Diabetes.  The goal is to reduce Emergency Room visits and hospital stays by providing education and visiting patients on a regular basis to help coordinate their healthcare needs.

The “Lunch and Learn” is free and open to the public.  RSVP to 304-473-2112.
