St. Joseph’s Hospital to hold roundtable discussion on Aug. 8 to discuss the health needs of Upshur Co.

BUCKHANNON, W.Va.- St. Joseph’s Hospital will be holding a roundtable discussion concerning the health needs of Upshur County.  This discussion is part of its Community Health Needs Assessment, required by Provisions in the Affordable Care Act (ACA) of 2010 that require tax-exempt (non-profit) hospitals to conduct a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) and Implementation Plan (CHIP) every three years. 

The community is invited to share their thoughts on the major health challenges currently facing our community.  The roundtable discussion will be held on Thursday, August 8 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Green Room at the 88 Restaurant. Refreshments will be served.
