BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – Mike Ross, St. Joseph’s Foundation board member and President of Mike Ross Inc. and Ross and Wharton Gas Company, recently presented a generous donation to the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation.

His gift toward the Foundation’s “Every Heartbeat Matters” campaign will help to raise funds for cardiac equipment for diagnostics and the cardiac rehabilitation program. West Virginia has the highest rate of heart disease in the nation and this campaign is addressing that issue.

“We greatly appreciate Mr. Ross’s ongoing dedication to St. Joseph’s Hospital and its Foundation,” said Skip Gjolberg, St. Joseph’s Hospital President. “His generosity to our hospital helps to ensure that we can provide the best in healthcare to our community.”

Donors to the “Every Heartbeat Matters” campaign will receive recognition throughout the campaign; their names will be engraved on a plaque to be placed in St. Joseph’s Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation Center; and they will be honored at a special end-of-the-year reception.

St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation is a non-profit, 501-C organization.
