St. Joseph’s Hospital celebrates its environmental services team

St. Joseph's Hospital Environmental Services Team

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – St. Joseph’s Hospital recognized its environmental services (EVS) team during the National Healthcare Environmental Services Week.  They held a celebration for staff to thank them for their hard work and dedication to the hospital.

Every department at the hospital depends on this staff for the critical, yet often behind-the-scenes work that they do each day.

“Our EVS workers are excellent ambassadors to patients and visitors as they try to find their way through the hospital,” said Skip Gjolberg, President of St. Joseph’s Hospital.  “I receive constant comments from the public saying that our hospital is one of the cleanest hospitals that they have ever seen. We are all very grateful to them for their hard work and commitment to the mission of  St. Joseph’s Hospital.”

The week is designed to demonstrate appreciation for the quality of the EVT team, the outcomes from their work, and the value that the work delivers to everyone working in a health care facility.
