FAIRMONT – With a partial roster, the Buckhannon Swim Club Splashers won nine events in a tri-outing with the Fairmont Field Club and the Clarksburg Swim Team Tuesday evening.

Gentry Roy was unopposed in two meets for two wins in the under-6 age group winning the 25-meter backstroke (1:15.67) and the 25-meter freestyle (58.81).

Berkeley Jeran claimed the 50-meter freestyle (40.02) and Madison Cutright won the 25-meter breaststroke (27.92) for the girls, Thomas Wilsoncroft won the 50-meter freestyle (43.19) for the boys and Jeran, Cora Cottrill, Marishka Ware and Kara Hildreth won the girl’s 100-meter freestyle relay (1:27.09) for the 9-10 year-old age group.

Aspen Manning won the lone event for the 11-12 year-olds claiming the 50-meter backstroke (49.91).

Rylee Yardley won the 100-meter backstroke (1:37.50) for the 13-14 year-old girls and Yardley Liz Hurst, Brody Jeran and Karson Karickhoff won the mixed 200-meter medley relay (2:56.93).

The Splashers will be back in the pool Thursday when they host MUAC at 6:30 p.m.
