WHEELING — West Virginia Wesleyan College visited Wheeling University Wednesday and posted a 1-1 draw with the Cardinals.
Ashley Mcgee, a freshman midfielder from Bayville N.J., got the Lady Bobcats on the scoreboard in the 34th minute for her first collegiate goal. It was her only shot attempt of the season while playing in 11 of the Lady Bobcats’ 12 matches.
Wheeling evened the scoreboard in the 76th minute when Phepha Seopa took a pass from Shiann Thomas and buried the shot.
Wesleyan (2-9-1) hosts conference leader Frostburg State University (10-1-1) Sunday at Culpepper Stadium for a 1 p.m. start.
