ELKINS — In its final match of the regular season, the West Virginia Wesleyan men’s soccer team dropped a 4-0 road contest to cross-county rivals Davis & Elkins College, Wednesday.

Scoring by the Senators began at the 12:52 mark when Johan Magana gained possession from a Dominique Castano assist to score the opening goal, then Magana scored again 10 minutes later with an assist from Modou Faye.

In the second half, Hugo Fauli used an assist by Shemar Daley to put the Senators up by three at 63:40 and Santiago Maiolo completed the day’s shut out with a Daley assist at 67:12.

The Bobcats end the regular season sixth in the table and will play the Senators again in the first round of the Mountain East Conference Men’s Soccer Tournament Sunday, Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. in Elkins.
