Shea Phillips to speak at 2025 NIADA Convention and Expo

Shea Phillips, general manager of Number One Auto Sales, will serve as a featured panelist at the 2025 NIADA Convention and Expo, sharing his expertise in social media marketing with industry peers.

Shea Phillips, General Manager of Number One Auto Sales in Buckhannon, West Virginia, will be a featured panelist at the 2025 NIADA Convention and Expo, the largest event in the used vehicle industry.

The NIADA Convention and Expo is June 23-26 at Fontainebleau Las Vegas.

Phillips will help lead the panel discussion “Making Social Media and Video Work at Your Dealership.” Shea has gained national recognition for his creative and out-of-the-box approach to social media marketing in the independent auto sales industry. His fresh blend of humor, authenticity, and high-impact video content has generated millions of views across platforms, with three standout videos going viral and capturing widespread attention.

Shea’s unique strategy has not only driven impressive online engagement but also positioned him as a thought leader in automotive marketing, earning him an invitation to speak at this year’s national convention for independent car dealers.

NIADA CEO Jeff Martin personally selected and invited Shea to speak at the convention.

“The NIADA Convention is well known for bringing some of the best dealers in the country together and providing outstanding education, and that is why we invited Shea Phillips,” Martin said. “He has found a way to make Number One Auto Sales stand out using video and social media as a marketing tool. We are honored Shea is willing to share his expertise to help educate other dealers across the country.”

It has been quite the banner year for this small, family independent dealership from Buckhannon, WV. Sid Phillips kicked off 2025 by celebrating a milestone: 30 years in business. In 2024, Shea was selected to serve on the NIADA’s national finance committee. This isn’t Number One Auto’s first national experience with NIADA. In 2019, Sid Phillips was awarded the National Outstanding Pioneer Award by NIADA at their national convention in Las Vegas, where he humbly accepted the award in front of thousands of his peers.

The NIADA Convention will feature more than 1,200 attendees, a large expo hall full of business solutions and a celebration of the industry, including the announcement of the 2025 National Quality Dealer of the Year.
