The Mountaineer Area Council of Scouting America will host its Second Annual Egg Quest on April 11 at 6 p.m. at Camp Mountaineer, inviting adults from across the region to take part in an evening of egg hunting, food, music, cash, prizes and fellowship — all in support of local scouting programs.
The adults-only fundraiser offers participants a chance to gather friends for a unique outdoor experience featuring more than 15,000 eggs hidden throughout camp property, along with hundreds of prizes, cash opportunities through pull tabs and a 50/50 raffle.
Guests who purchase Super VIP tickets may arrive beginning at 5 p.m. for early entry before general admission begins at 6 p.m. Event organizers note that tickets must be purchased in advance, and attendance is limited to adults only.
Each guest will receive a complimentary s’mores kit and is invited to enjoy campfires, music, food trucks and time together on the scenic grounds of Camp Mountaineer in Morgantown.
“This event gives adults a fun reason to come experience Camp Mountaineer while directly supporting programs that serve youth throughout our region,” said Sarah Fox. “It’s a great night out with friends, but every ticket purchased also helps strengthen local scouting.”
All proceeds from Egg Quest remain local, supporting scouting programs delivered across the council’s 22-county service area and benefiting more than 2,000 youth through leadership development, outdoor education, service projects and character-building experiences.
Fox said the event also continues to create valuable opportunities for local businesses to partner with a highly visible community fundraiser.
“We are still looking for sponsors and have packages available in a variety of sizes, so even small businesses can participate,” Fox said. “It’s an opportunity to support local youth while gaining visibility through a fun and growing community event.”
Businesses interested in sponsorship opportunities may contact Sarah Fox at 304-997-2450 or Sarah.Fox@scouting.org.
