Sealcoat Concepts and Hank Ellis Insurance tied for lead in Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League standings

TENNERTON – There is now a tie for the fourth-quarter lead in the Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League standings.

In a battle of first and second place this week, Sealcoat Concepts overtook last week’s leader Lisa Cain Edward Jones after beating them by a 23 ½-16 ½ margin to make the leap into first place.

They are joined at the top by Hank Ellis Insurance who had a big week defeating Sam’s Pizza by a 23 ½-16 ½ score.

Both teams are tied at the top with 88 ½ points while Lisa Cain Edward Jones dropped to third place with 84 ½ points.

Custom Cabinets remained in fourth place despite losing a 22 ½-17 ½ decision to First Community Bank.

Feola’s Flowers made the move from seventh place to fifth place after downing Highland Landscaping by a 23-17 score.

The other match of the week saw High Point Construction beat Baker Tilly by a 20 ½-15 ½ score.

Owen Bragg and Kenny Tenney of Baker Tilly both won Low Actual honors for the week as both carded 35s while Bragg took home Low Net honors with a 30.
