Sam’s Pizza widens lead in men’s golf league standings

TENNERTON – Sam’s Pizza built on their lead this week with a huge win in the Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League standing this past Wednesday evening.

Sam’s Pizza widened their lead this week after a huge 27 ½-12 ½ win over Feola’s Flowers. They now have 94 points.

Hank Ellis Insurance remained in second place with 87 ½ points with a 22-18 victory over First Community Bank.

Highland Landscaping moved up one spot this week into third place with 81 points after a 22 ½-17 ½ win over Custom Cabinets.

High Point Construction jumped up two spots into fourth place following a 22-18 victory over Lisa Cain Edward Jones. They currently have 78 points.

Kenny Tenney of Sam’s Pizza took Low Actual honors with a 38 while Sam Nolte of Sam’s Pizza won Low Net honors with a 33.
