Sam’s Pizza takes over lead in Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League standings

TENNERTON – The Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League has a new leader sitting atop of the standings after week four action.

Sam’s Pizza grabbed the top spot this week after knocking off Highland Landscaping by a 26-14 score.

Custom Cabinets, last week’s leader, lost a 20 ½-19 ½ decision to Feola’s Flowers and dropped into second place while Feola’s Flowers remained in third place.

High Point Construction jumped all the way from last place to fourth place with a 26-14 win over First Community Bank.

The other match of the week featured Hank Ellis Insurance defeated Lisa Cain Edward Jones by a 24-16 count.

John Moss of Custom Cabinets won Low Actual honors for the week with a 38 while Tim Critchfield of High Point Construction brought home Low New honors with a 31.
