BUCKHANNON – Following a massive outing Wednesday, Sam’s Pizza, who was 7 ½
points behind first-place First Community Bank, is now in a tie for the lead in the Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League standings.
Sam’s Pizza crushed Lynx WV by a 27 ½-12 ½ score to jump into the first-place tie with 94 overall points.
First Community Bank held onto the tie for first after settling for a 20-20 deadlock with Lisa Cain Edward Jones.
Custom Cabinets moved up one spot this week into third place with 84 ½ points after a 20-20 tie with Sunset Graphics.
Sunset Graphics is now in a tie for fourth place with 82 ½ points with Highland Landscaping after they fell from third place after a 20-16 setback to High Point Construction.
In the other match of the week, Hank Ellis Insurance downed Feola’s Flowers by a 22-14 score,
Evan Coffman of Sunset Graphics earned Low Actual honors with a 35 while Jerry Cochran of Feola’s Flowers won Low Net honors with a 30.
