Russell L. Lane, 69, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Thursday, December 31, 2020, at the Clarksburg Nursing and Rehab Center in Clarksburg, W.Va.
He was born February 17, 1951, in Buckhannon, a son of the late Oran and Pauline Casto Lane. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Wilma Douglas Lane.
Mr. Lane is survived by one son, William Lane and wife Keri of Buckhannon; two daughters, Katrina Lindamood and husband Chad and Betsy Ritz and husband Tony all of Tenn.; four granddaughters, Makayla Daughtery and husband Kody of Buckhannon and Gabriella, Rachel and Violet Ritz all of Tenn.; two grandsons, Cadin and Cody Riffle both of Tenn. and one sister, Wanda Sue Houghton and husband Lonnie.
Mr. Lane was a coal miner and farmer.
A private graveside service will be held for the family.
