Roy David Law

Roy David Law, 77, of Buckhannon, W.Va. died Monday, August 10, 2020, at his home.

He was born May 1, 1943, in Steubenville, Ohio, a son of the late Vernon and Jean Livingston Law.

On August 21, 1965, he married Joyce Ann McCarty who survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Ann Michelle Hartley and husband Rodd of Ripley, W.Va.; one son, Ryan Law of Buckhannon; two granddaughters, Makenzie and Addison Hartley both of Ripley; one grandson, Ayden Law Hartley of Ripley; one sister, Margaret Ann Kapuscinski and husband Dale of Kissimmee, Fla.; one brother, Donald Law and wife Patricia of Painesville, Ohio; one sister in law, Cheryl Law of Mentor, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Doyle and Charles Edward Law. 

Mr. Law was a member of the Chapel Hill UMC, the Chapel Hill UMC Choir and the Chapel Hill United Methodists Mens. He was a former member of the Buckhannon Lions Club and the Jaycees.

Friends will be received Tuesday, August 18, 2020, from 1-4 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ronald M. McCauley officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Jane Lew, W.Va.
