Richard Paul Lewis, age 61, of Buckhannon, WV, died Sunday, September 22, 2024, at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV.
He was born October 23, 1962, in Baltimore, MD, a son of Melvia Jorn Poling Lewis Honeycutt of Buckhannon and the late Harley Melvin Lewis, Jr. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Vincent Charles Lewis and Allen Lee Lewis and wife Sandy L.; one nephew, William S. Lewis; one niece, Brittany N. Lewis and one great-nephew, Brendon M. Lewis.
Mr. Lewis was an electrician by trade and a Jehovah Witness. In his youth, Richard won the WV Gold Medal in an electrician competition through VICA. In his spare time, he enjoyed skiing and golf.
In honoring Mr. Lewis’ wishes, he will be cremated and a private family service will be held at a later date.
