Richard Alan “Rick” Loudin, 52, of Brunswick, Ohio passed away July 17, 2019. He is survived by loving parents Barbara K. Wilson and Donald B. Loudin, devoted sister Roberta (Michael) Bosak, and adoring niece Alaina Bosak.
He is also survived by his Aunts Deborah (Josephine) Wilson, Emma Wilson, and Melissa (Rusty) Allison; Uncles David (Agnes) Wilson, Charles (Judy) Wilson, Allen “Buck” Loudin, Junior (Judy) Loudin; and numerous cousins and relatives in Ohio and West Virginia.
Rick was an easygoing and often comedic soul who was truly loved by his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was employed by Root Candles in Medina, Ohio and attended Akron University in his youth. He loved music, specifically arena rock, and science fiction series, such as Star Wars and Star Trek. He also collected everything from coins to comics, and would read anything, especially books full of facts and figures.
Family and friends may gather Thursday, July 25, 2019, from 7-9 p.m., at Waite & Son Funeral Home in Brunswick, Ohio. A second gathering will be held Saturday, July 27, 2019, from 10 a.m. – noon at Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel in Buckhannon, W.Va. Inurnment at Rock Cave Cemetery will follow at 12:30 p.m. Refreshments afterwards will be provided by the Banks District Fire Department Auxiliary.
