Rev. Lloyd Curtis Saville

Rev. Lloyd Curtis Saville, 96, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Friday, July 10, 2020, at his home.

He was born February 25, 1924, in Slanesville, W.Va.

He was preceded in death on December 13, 2019, by his wife Virginia Mae Saville. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by two daughters, Valerie C. Browning and Cindi D. Vance.

He is survived by two sons-in-law, Duane Browning of Buckhannon and Fred Vance of Charleston, W.Va.; two grandsons, Evan Curtis Vance of Charleston and Nathan Duane Browning of Buckhannon ; one great-grandson, Seth Vance of Charleston and two great-granddaughters, Makayla and Jubilee Vance both of Charleston.

Rev. Saville was a Methodist Minister and a Christian by faith. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Friends will be received Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Ellis Conley officiating.

Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon. The Upshur County Honor Guard will conduct Military Honors at the gravesite.
