Pretty Peonies Parlor hopes to bring creativity, community to Buckhannon

The Tucker Community Foundation is urging Upshur County nonprofits to sign up for its Run For It campaign, a fundraiser that sends donations directly back to participating teams. Organizers say the event builds community, promotes health and has raised millions for local causes.

James Harland Lockhart, IV, “Fuzzy the Clown,” 74, of Buckhannon, died February 16, 2026, at Holbrook Healthcare Center. He was a longtime educator and beloved clown who brought joy to children and adults alike.
